Get a Certificate of Insurance directly from his insurance agent. There is a spot on this certificate to list you as a “Certificate Holder” and it will have the insurance company name, policy number and dates of coverage period. Tell the plumber you need it texted, emailed, mailed directly to you from his agent. We do this all the time for our contractor clients.
